Healthcare on the border

Our Healthcare on the Border research initiatives seek to address important health issues at the U.S.–Mexico border. 
Participating Mount Saint Âé¶¹¹û¶³â€™s students, both graduate and undergraduate, learn how to:  

  • Conduct qualitative analysis  
  • Conduct quantitative analysis  
  • Draw conclusions and develop hypotheses from analyzed data  
  • Prepare research findings for academic presentation (in posters, conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications  
  • Gain experience in mixed-methods research projects

Scholars in Residence program

Our Scholar in Residence program enhances the University’s academic environment by hosting scholars with an international research agenda. Scholars in residence are non-Mount academic distinguished leaders, faculty and/or artists. This program is designed to enhance global and cultural connections on campus, and to support the continuation of scholars’ professional development through research, scholarship and creative activities.
